Katsuki, newly crowned king of Yuuei, lives a life set in stone. Determined to be the best ruler, he strives to follow the same path as his parents. Izuku, a loner omega dwelling in the forest, lives a life stalked by death. Everything he’s ever loved he’s lost and he has long since decided that giving up on loving others is his best option to keep himself from getting hurt. He keeps a careful distance between himself and the rest of the world but when the king shows up at his doorstep half dead, he’s determined not to let another person die under his watch.
