"Lay down," Blitzø ordered, already off of the couch.
Stolas laid on the couch with a soft smile.
Blitzø kissed his forehead and ran his claws through Stolas' head feathers. "Grab your book."
With gentle hands, Stolas cradled his borrowed book to his chest.
Climbing onto Stolas' lap and chest, Blitzø laid his head on Stolas' chest feathers with a contented purr. "Read to me."

Summary
It's been a few months since Octavia had finally accepted that her father, Stolas, was dating that weird imp named Blitz (without an O). Although their interactions have been limited, she's been making efforts to meet with him in order to get to know him better. This time, she and her father and meeting Blitz and his daughter for lunch at a diner. However, that said daughter happens to be someone that Octavia knows very well from a long time ago.
