There was a pause as his words sunk in. A weighted silence before Scar made his feelings known. Rover's head was yanked back by his hair and a sharp pain bloomed from his neck. He sucked in a breath as teeth dug into his skin. Scar's grip on him was tight and bruising and no matter how much he tightened his own grip around Scar's neck, the other man would not let go. Rover let out a huff, annoyed, amused and so so fond, "bad dog."
