There really shouldn’t be any secret technique to cooking barbeque meat that tastes this good.
“Ehh, it could be better,” he lies to Yoo Joonghyuk anyway because he wouldn’t admit his failures. He then places his own slice of meat on the grill and waits for it to cook.
“It’s done.” Yoo Joonghyuk points out to him.
“No, no, it’s not done yet.” Kim Dokja says.
“It’s overcooked now.”
“No, you don’t understand,” Kim Dokja tells him seriously. “I’m just making it more crispy, y’know, letting it caramelize, or whatever.”
By the time he thinks that it’s done, he takes it off the grill with the ‘cooked meat’ tongs. It’s rubbery and burnt at the edges, but Kim Dokja ignores that and places it on Yoo Joonghyuk’s plate proudly. “Eat, Joonghyuk-ah.”
Yoo Joonghyuk is terrible, he has a terrible personality, a bitchy attitude, is extremely rude, and is an overall asshole. Unfortunately, said asshole does have a really nice car.
OR Kim Dokja is an idiot and apparently Yoo Joonghyuk is into that.

This bastard, talking to a brick wall would be less infuriating than trying to have a conversation with him.
How could he possibly be cheating, and why would he be cheating? It was a stupid Math exercise for God's sake.
“What are you even talking about? Gosh, whatever just give it to me-”, Dokja began, reaching to grab his pen that had somehow ended up across the table.
“-I’ll redo it then.”
A hand suddenly grabbed Dokja’s pale wrist, its warmth sending a muted shiver up his spine. He looked up, surprised.
An earnest face met his.
“No, I can explain.”
Dokja paused.
What was that?
In which Kim Dokja is a tired student failing math just as any other, and Yoo Joonghyuk turns out to be more than just a dense asshole of a tutor.
