    Damn kid couldn’t even look Victor in the eye when he (they?) spoke. Victor watched Morph’s throat swell as they swallowed. They stared into the tunneling bottleneck like it was gonna give them an answer. “Hey,” Morph shrugged, “It was just a suggestion.”
