“No!” she yelled, spinning around to face him. “Do you know what everyone says about you?”
Something had shifted — a wildness creeping in. One of her expensive high heels had just snapped under the force of her steps. Her shiny blonde hair, usually perfectly straightened, was now frizzed up with such a static charge that looked strong enough to attract lightning. To complete the picture, her pale, furious face framed two green eyes glowing as if lit by hellfire.
Anyone passing by would’ve sworn Regina George had finally become the devil herself.
To Rodrick Heffley, however, nothing had ever looked more like an angel.
