The fact that I was still alive, breathing, and feeling pain, was impossible. I moved my legs closer, to make more room for the fight scene taking place right in front of me. I dragged my backpack, to protect my chest, as I felt panic rising in my veins. The rain pouring down from the dark sky was only making all of this more dramatic, more horrifying, for them.
