Summary
Sullivan was his drill instructor once, then his platoon sergeant for four years after - same rank gap, same rules, keeping the want neither of them named exactly where it couldn't go anywhere. Now Cam has left the Corps with a medical discharge. He's out: civilian, reservist, rebuilding a life around a psych degree and a standing Saturday morning run. Sullivan's still in. Post-DADT means the danger is gone. It doesn't mean either of them knows what to do with what's left.
