    Summary

Sansa escapes King's Landing during the bread riots but ends up captured and brought to Harrenhal where she is reunited with Arya. She catches the eye of first Ser Gregor then Lord Lannister. This sets off a series of events that will reshape the realm, with ripples reaching the far north of Westeros and far south of Essos.

Tywin/Sansa is the focus for much of the early chapters. Additional POVs and plotlines come in later, but Sansa and/or Tywin will remain central characters throughout, their relationship a constant driving force.

This fic could easily be called: The Trials and Tribulations of Sansa Stark. It could also be called: The Trials and Tribulations of Everyone in Planetos, but since Sansa is the main character...

    Summary

The Dornish had been furious at the end of the rebellion. What happened to their family had been horrible, but they had seen what all the maesters in Oldtown told them. Elia and her children, Princess Rhaenys and Prince Aegon, had died after the Mad King forced them to drink wildfire. They had marched to the city intent on war. They had argued that the throne rightly belonged to Prince Viserys. Unfortunately the boy, his mother, and infant sister had died in an attempt to flee Dragonstone amidst the worst storm in a century.

The people remembered Tywin's time as Hand of the King well, how the city had flourished. They had cheered for the Lannisters when he entered the city again, with an army to defend them. They cheered again when he brought the fighting to an end with letters of invitation to the warring parties whose leaders had all perished.

Now, Tywin required an heir. An infertile daughter and a son sworn to celibacy were his legacy as it stood, and he had the greatest prize of all to give to an heir. He would have one, and one of the most ancient houses in Westeros.

    Summary

The year is 1870 and the country is trying to grow after multiple wars had left it in rubble. An industrial boom is only years away and Twyin Lannister is the ruthless and rich railroad baron of Westeros. He tries to strike a deal with Ned Stark, an up-and-coming oilman who is eager to fill the Lannister's trains with his fuel. Meanwhile, the Baratheon's are trying to buy the Starks out from beneath the Old Lion as they develop the first automobiles and they realize they need a way to power both the cars and the assembly lines to make them. In the south, the Tyrells grow their agricultural powerhouse, the Tulley's are working on the first sparks of sustainable electricity, and the Bolton's steel is warred over by everyone.

But at the root of all of this scheming and power is one girl, Sansa Stark. A girl who has, quite literally, become one of the most valuable pawns in this coal-fueled game. When a contract is breeched, how will the richest man in Westersos react? And will he be surprised to find that the beautiful little pawn isn't as insignificant or as naïve as he originally thought?

    Summary

Harrenhal wasn’t a safe place. It wasn’t safe for a young girl, for a girl from a rivaling noble house, disguised as a commoner even less. In fact, it wasn't safe for anyone. Whilst the Lord of Harrenhal drank sweet wine from an ornate cup, everyone else drank a far more bitter draught.

The story of Arya Stark, now cupbearer to Lord Tywin in Harrenhal. A tale of innocence and intimidation, of little games, unwisely played.
