Alex just loves days like this.
He’s got his nose tucked into the curve of Henry’s neck, floating somewhere between awake and asleep. Henry’s hand is warm where it cradles his hip, and the low rumble of his voice is so soothing. He shifts a little to get himself impossibly closer and fill his lungs with nothing but the clean scent of his lover’s cologne.
Henry’s grip on him tightens a bit, and he murmurs, “Stop squirming, sweetheart. You’ve got to behave when I have company, remember?”
