"On vacation," Jason rolls his eyes. "I know. I ain't stupid, old man. I meant why the hell is he doing the dishes?"
Bruce squints at him for a long minute. Jason can practically hear the gears turning in his head and wants to start screaming. Is everybody in this house stupid?
"Did… you want to do them?" Bruce asks after almost a solid minute.
What.
Tim has to do the dishes and is Not Having A Good Time About It. Jason is (unfortunately) burdened with the only emotional braincell in the family.

“Wouldn’t dream of it,” Wen Ruohan replied, teeth clenched and brow furrowed as he fought off the pain. Blood leaked out from the corner of his mouth despite his words. “I suppose the stain of red on white is terribly hard to get out.”
His tone was bitter, angry, and he was probably making some sort of very clever metaphorical point, given the Lan sect’s white robes and Wen sect’s emblem of red and white.

Summary
Frankenstein made his monster using the parts of stolen corpses. Lex Luthor made his with the stolen blood of Superman. Superboy, despite being very new to existence, isn’t sure that’s any better, even if Superman rescued him only a few weeks after his creation.
Except Kon’s rescue wasn’t a coincidence, and neither were the other spontaneous events changing the lives of superheroes all over the world. Kon might care more about growing up than the fate of the world, but fate will latch itself onto him whether he likes it or not.

Summary
Tim Drake learns to live.
Through unloving parents, through Robin, and through retirement, Tim learns what this complicated thing called life is all about. He didn’t ask to be born but he’ll survive his parents. Jason was never supposed to die and leave Gotham with a violent Batman, but Tim will solve that as well.
He’ll soldier through it like he soldiers through everything else: with a metric fuck tonne of caffeine served with a side of depression and rage against the world.
He just wishes he didn’t have to attend so many funerals.
