Summary
At first, all Shoyo can taste is orange and mango and the underlying sharpness of alcohol. Then, the abrasive sweetness fades as something uniquely Kageyama seeps through; a mixture of mint and salty sweat that suddenly he can’t get enough of. He feels Kageyama’s tongue breach the seam of his lips and he welcomes it instantly with a hum of approval.
The kiss is messy and sloppy and desperate. Shoyo’s tongue explores every crevice of his mouth, hungrily seeking the places its never gotten to explore, but always wanted to. Shoyo is simultaneously the sixteen year old who daydreams about stolen kisses in the gym storage room and the nineteen year old fantasizing about being the one Kageyama celebrates with after his first ever Olympic win and the twenty-two year old who has been in love with his rival for years.
A small part of him screams to stop, to pull away; that Kageyama is only doing this because he’s drunk, that he’ll only get his feelings hurt if he doesn’t.
The larger part of him doesn’t care. It’s selfish; it wants wins and glory and Kageyama, in any way it can get him. It craves every single inch that the setter is willing to give.

When he’d had enough, he pinned her shoulders to the mattress. He hovered over her, peering down at her through the black curtain of hair that hung loose at his shoulders, half-expecting to be slapped in the face, because this couldn’t be happening. Not to him, not with his luck.
But then she spoke. “Tell me.”
