The first 20 years of Gorillaz's major canonical beats condensed and connected into a coherent thematic and character-driven epic of mystery building and pay-off that will never gaslight you about how gay it is... and assumes Murdoc regularly makes shit up to cover up for even worse shit.

I’m not even a quarter of the way through this behemoth and I *need* to bookmark it. It’s *that* good. Murdoc is a knob, news at 11.
Edit from Ch. 60: yeahhhhhhh this still fucks like hell. The characters definitely diverge from their canon counterparts, but there’s more than enough narrative DNA to prove that they’re the same people - KoreYonicWounds has a *fantastic* grasp on the Gorillaz. When this is finished I’ll consider it an *absolute* must-read for every 2Doc fan I know. (Though to be fair you should definitely still read it now.)
