Summary
David Webster is a 16-year-old boy who is in his penultimate year of high school. David doesn’t consider himself a brilliant student or someone who excels at anything in particular; he simply goes about his life like everyone else.
One day, he strikes up a casual conversation with Joseph Liebgott, unaware of how popular Joe is. From then on, Joe develops a certain closeness and genuine affection for David; he starts seeking him out more often and including him in his social plans because… well, he enjoys David Webster’s company.
