“Where are we?” he asks.
Suguru looks around the carriage as though considering the question seriously. “A train.”
Satoru lets several seconds pass. “You spent all that time becoming a cult leader and somehow came out less interesting.”
Satoru wakes on a train he doesn’t remember boarding. Suguru is sitting beside him. The route map is wrong, the stations are stranger, and for once, Satoru is in no hurry to find out where they’re going.

Summary
Sethos always told himself he was fine with whatever Kunikuzushi was willing to give him, and vice-versa.
Casual hookups. Shared nights. No expectations. They were fine with it.
Up until they weren't. It worked, right up until Kunikuzushi decided to be a little too demanding, that leading to one conversation that ended up forcing them to admit that somewhere along the way, they stopped pretenting it was just sex.
