He reached out, his gloved fingers tracing the line of her jaw, a slow, deliberate touch that sent a tremor through her. She didn't pull away. Her eyes fluttered shut for a barest second.
"I want you, Mon," he said, his voice dropping to a possessive whisper. "And what I want, I eventually have. The only question left is whether you will come to me willingly, or if I will have to burn down everything you pretend to care about until I am the only thing you have left."
It wasn't a threat. It was a statement of fact. A promise.
Mon opened her eyes, and the fear was still there, but now it was mingled with a reckless, defiant heat. "And if I said I might be willing?" she breathed, the words tasting like treason on her tongue.
________________________________________________________________________________________Or, what starts as a distraction for Krennic and an indulgence for Mon, blooms into a full-blown affair.

"So," Mon whispered, her voice barely audible over the music. "What do you want?"
Krennic leaned in, so close she could feel a whisper of his lips against her ear, his breath warm and unwelcome. It took every ounce of her senatorial training to prevent her from pulling away, from breaking the contact, from letting other guests know something was amiss.
"You're a beautiful woman, Senator," he murmured, his voice a low, intimate rumble that sent an unwelcome shiver down her spine. "Infuriatingly moralizing, of course, and self-righteous to a fault. But beautiful nonetheless."
He paused. His gaze drifted to her lips for a split second before returning to meet her gaze, hot and heavy with implication.
"What do you think I want?"

Riddle stepped forward, and caught her shoulder. To any outsider, it would have looked friendly.
Intimate.
The warmth from his palm bleeding into her skin chilled her blood.
“Miss Granger,” he said, concern written into his brow, whisper quiet. “That’s a very curious statement. As Head Boy, I would be duty-bound to report any suspicions of the Dark Arts.”
He stepped closer still, to murmur directly into her ear. “Please - be very careful throwing around accusations like that.”
His warm breath ghosted over the shell of her ear. Hermione suppressed a shiver.
Every sense in her body was screaming danger.
