Summary
Amidst a record-breaking windstorm, the 118 get trapped in the firehouse when their roller doors malfunction. Meanwhile, Chimney uncovers paperwork with life-changing information, and the members of the 118 begin to question the nature of Buck and Eddie's relationship.
As he scooted his chair in, Eddie's legs clashed with Buck's and Eddie tapped Buck's shin with his foot before he could be beaten to the punch. Buck looked up, silently, and held eye contact with Eddie as he retaliated. Eddie pressed his lips together and kicked back, a little harder but still nowhere near hard enough to inflict any real damage. The edge of Buck's mouth quirked up as he shuffled in his chair, adjusting his posture to maximise range of kicking, which Eddie read as a non-verbal declaration of war
"Okay, what is happening right now?" Harry asked.
"Buck, Eddie, what did I say about doing your weird psychic mind-meld thing at the dinner table?" Chimney said in his best dad voice. Buck finally broke eye contact and laughed.
"You said that it uh, 'freaks you out', Buck replied, punctuating the last part with air quotations.
"Exactly," Chimney replied with a smile.

Summary
Buck pressed the heels of his hands into his forehead and sighed.
"No, we're not engaged, it was just something Eddie said to get the social worker out of the house, path of least resistance," he explained.
"The path of least resistance was to say that you guys are getting gay married?" she asked incredulously.
"Just… married, Maddie, not gay married, and I-I dont know. Eddie says I'll have a better shot at adoption if Theo has a two-parent household," Buck clarified before Maddie cut him off.
"Wait, it was Eddie's idea?"
"Uh, yeah? So?"
"No! Nothing!" Maddie replied quickly. "That's just.. interesting!"
Buck and Eddie decide to get married to make adopting Theo easier and definitely for no other reasons at all.
