Frank is Peter’s neighbor.
Peter doesn’t know who he is, not at first. He just figures the guy must be a boxer, because of the nose, and because every time Peter runs into him in the elevator or the hallway, he’s covered in bruises.

Summary
Peter Parker had a crush on the Punisher, of all people. The name alone was a red flag. He kept going to Frank's, trying to get close, wishing Frank would just look at him the way he wanted. And Frank did notice, but he didn't want to cave because he knew he wasn't good for Peter because in his eyes, Peter was a genuinely good person who didn't kill and was willing to sacrifice his own life to save another, and Frank was just a cold-blooded killer. But Peter saw more than that, and he wanted that man.

Summary
It feels good to be taken care of. He knows Frank feels guilty—for this whole thing—but a selfish part of Peter doesn't care. This is something they both need.
It's not fair for Frank, or anyone, to try and tell him the difference between right and wrong when they've shared so much of themselves with each other.

Summary
Peter supposes Frank knows just as much about loss. He’s never looked that far into the details, but he knows enough of what happened to him. Maybe it’s because he knows what happened that he can’t let himself look further. It feels too much like peeling back Frank’s skull to look at the pieces left behind.
