At first, as she wandered, she felt nothing but rage.
Nothing but rage, because the gods had lied, and the gods were fallible, and they’d stolen her love from her and left her alone in this wretched place. She was angry, and she hated everything in the world, everyone who had been in the world—except for Ozma. She tried to pretend she didn’t hate herself, but really, who was there to prove herself to?
