    Midoriya Izuku had been officially missing for two months before his body was found, charred and mutilated in a dumpster.

    Midoriya Inko was absolutely devastated, her precious Izuku was dead and she wasn't there for him.

    Bakugou Katsuki was destroyed as well. Izuku had been kidnapped while he was trying to save Katsuki. And Katsuki had been too trusting in the police and heroes because Izuku was dead.

    But what if Izuku's body was a fake?

    What if Izuku was tortured and imprisoned by the League of Villains for 5 months before he was able to make his escape.

    Now, Izuku is on the run with a quirk that he doesn't want and a whole lot of unchecked anger towards his past captors.

    They'll have hell to pay for the hell they put him through, he swears on it.

He's 17 when the last of the HPSC falls, and he unlocks his true quirk for the the first time. He's 18 when he falls, head over heels, for someone who he shouldn't. He's 19 when the NOMU start breeding. He's 20 when he and the others realize that the NOMU no longer respond to anyone. He's 21 when the first country falls. He's 22 when he unlocks OfA at 100% for the first time and causes the death of an entire NOMU army. He's 23 when he starts experimenting on himself to make his original quirk strong enough to help. He's 24 when he tries to help rebuild the society he had partly caused the downfall of. He's 25, and lauded for being something between a NOMU and a human, something better. He's 26 when the NOMU evolved further, taking down their refuge and killing all but two. He's 27, when he blinks up at the sky for the last time, leaving Eri alone, as his legacy, the tenth holder of their, quirk. Then, he's 14 again, still in middle school, with half of his second quirk, and all of his original one. Which way will the cards fall when he knows the truth?
