Sam's shop is a place of mystery and comfort for anyone who happened to wonder in there.
And, really, anyone can wonder in- Sam's shop isn't limited to one dimension, let alone one place. there's everything under the sun, and for any price that you deem fit- Sam takes anything from money to a possession that you're finally ready to let go of.
From people in 2020, dealing with a pandemic, looking for a new phone or lamp, to elves, simply looking for a less frayed blanket, anyone's welcome for a cup of tea and a home-baked cookie.
It's okay. take your time. Sam's gonna be hanging around for a whole week- and if they like where you are, they're probably going to come back- but their shop is gonna look completely different, from the size to the age of the bell that hangs by the little? big? red door.
But, over anything, you're safe here. Sam can give you some advice. they know how to speak, even if they don't have a face.

Summary
The crime scene that Miles Edgeworth finds himself on is a strange one. The culprit didn't leave behind any clues to point to their identity except for one- a decisive witness who'd viewed the whole murder firsthand.
A witness who also happened to be a living, breathing firebird who introduced himself as Phoenix.
With Phoenix's aid, Miles works to find enough evidence to bring this murderer to justice, all while slowly learning more about his strange new investigative partner.

Summary
Phoenix’s heart is pounding when Edgeworth lifts his hand, but then he hesitates. In that moment of pause, Phoenix sees years of pressure weighing him down. Miles cried over folding a bad paper crane when he still had the father he idolized to tell him it was okay. Then he was fighting to be good enough in every aspect of his life, not even to be accepted, but to avoid being rebuked.
It’s okay, Phoenix wants to say. Not as a platitude but an assertion. They’re not going to be very good dancers and that’s okay.
Phoenix shoves past his own fear, past that nagging voice telling him to accept rejection. If he puts himself out there to be judged, silly and trivial as his fears may be, then maybe he’ll show Edgeworth how to do that too.
“Can I have this dance?”

Maya wants to be Franziska's plus one to the annual Policeman's Ball, which would leave Edgeworth without someone to keep him company through an event he's been dreading. If only there was a spiky haired defense attorney with no life who could do it...

Then he took a deep breath and he changed. He ironed out every fold in his posture and his face until he looked like Superman again. His shoulders were broad, his gaze was confident, and his smile showed no sign of embarrassment or fear.
It’s genuinely uncomfortable to watch.
Especially since Bruce knows that change. He’s seen it in the mirror before entering parties or nightclubs. He’s always referred to it, internally, as 'putting on my better face.' The façade is his least favourite part of the day, ranking just below 'getting punched by supervillains.'
The idea that Superman is just Kal's better face, that would explain a lot.
It would also mean Bruce isn't alone.
