Though there was a knife in her hand there had almost been a gentleness to the way she held Alicent’s wrist, dressed in the drab garb of the septas and still so striking. It’s a wonder nobody recognized her from sheer magnetism alone.
“I did what I thought was best for the realm.”
The blade kisses Alicent’s neck. She can feel the pain in a detached, dreamlike way, the shallow slice of a sharpened edge across the vulnerable skin of her throat.
“Liar,” Rhaenyra whispers.
OR
Alicent is haunted by so many things, her own decisions chief among them. Why not add Rhaenyra’s visit in the sept?

Summary
A Frenemies AU, set in modern times - Killian Jones and Emma Swan have hated each other since the moment they met. Killian is arrogant, cocky and a womanizer; Emma is standoffish, straight forward, and rude. When David and Mary Margaret ask them to be their respective Maid of Honor and Best Man, their desire to stay as far away from each other as possible, goes awry. The two must work together to make the Nolan-Blanchard wedding as perfect as possible. The best wedding gift the bride and groom could receive is for their closest friends to get along, and if they help their friends achieve their own happy ending, then who’s to stop them?

Summary
No, David thinks nature will be good for all of them, help them reconnect with their roots (and here David laughed for a full two minutes at his own pun), and reconnect with each other.
And because where David goes, so goes Mary Margaret (legally, even) there's a whole theme to their weekend in the woods: Storybrooke High, Class of 2001, back to high school.
It's a carefully choreographed thing that saw Killian tearing apart his apartment for his letter jacket, Emma tearing apart her apartment for her jean jacket, and Ruby tearing apart the aisles of CVS in search of white eyeliner. (a high school friends go camping as adults AU!)
