He cursed under his breath and took his chance, he bolted forward, toward the dragon; behind him he saw Lyonel try to snatch him back, but he missed his hand and the dragon’s tail landed in between them, making Dunk free to duck under its wing, which it was using as forelimbs to keep stabilised on the ground, and reach the other side, finally able to see its snout, and what was left of the cruel prince’s champions.
