For four years, Tech had been traveling the vast, monster-infested wasteland the earth became ever since Abominations first showed up. The open road was a dangerous place to be, but it was a risk he would take to find his family again.
Instead, he found another group of travelers. A carefree merchant named Phil who wanted to be reunited with his wife. A musician named Wilbur with more laughter than song. And Tommy, who could only be described as a gremlin on a mission.
Sticking with them was the logical thing for Tech to do, to up all their chances of survival. That didn't mean he'd have to grow attached.
