Wilson glanced around the room. House's Vicodin bottle was on the coffee table. His crutches were laid flat on the floor next to him, and his wheelchair was tucked in against the end of the sofa. Wilson had packed four Tupperware boxes of left-overs into House's fridge, along with some frozen microwave dinners. He could pick up his bags and walk out and go and have his traditional New Year's holiday with his college friends without a second thought.
Unfortunately, Wilson was the past-master of having second thoughts.
