Summary
Jungkook has never known what it means to be a dragon. Raised by humans after his egg was found abandoned, he grows up loved but alone, with no one to teach him how to fly, hunt, nest, or understand the instincts slowly waking under his skin. When he starts getting sick, he assumes it is just another thing wrong with him.
It is not.
Ancient and powerful, the six dragons of an old nest catch the scent of a hatchling where no hatchling should be: isolated, frightened, and already fading from sickness. Jungkook is terrified when they come for him, but the nest does not intend to leave him behind. Even if saving him means taking him.

“Oh?” Yoonji blinks, and she looks surprised, but not really. It’s like she expected Jeongguk to say something like that, but still can’t quite believe he actually did. “Do you want me to send you a video?”
Jeongguk shivers visibly. He tries to smile, but it’s not really funny, and he knows it’ll just come out as a weird grimace. He doesn’t want to embarrass himself in front of Yoonji, because she’s intimidating.
But at the same time, he’s always been brutally honest.
“I don’t know,” he says honestly. “That would be weird, wouldn’t it?”or Seokjin is married to Yoonji, but his relationship with Jeongguk is complicated.
