Levi looks to his own hand. It’d be a gamble.
“I get the book if I win?”
Erwin nods and Levi decides to take the risk. “My remainder.”
The first trick of the round, Erwin plays an eight to Levi’s King.
The second trick goes to Erwin, who plays an Ace to Levi’s Jack.
“Ready?” Erwin asks, hiding his lips behind the final card.
“Always,” Levi responds and lays down another King.
Erwin smiles as though he couldn’t be more delighted with Levi’s play, and, for a heartbeat, Levi worries he’s fumbled.

Summary
Erwin survives Shiganshina. He's not sure he's grateful for it.
Levi, the person he loves, who's spent years fighting dysphoria for the right to call himself a man, tries to save him from guilt and self-doubt that are slowly drowning him. But soon, at the worst possible moment, Levi discovers that his body is good for more than just efficiently taking lives. It might be capable of creating one, too.
Levi has to decide what to do with that discovery, while Erwin, with the support of old friends and Corps veterans Hange, Mike, and Nanaba, tries to work through his guilt and figure out what he even wants to live for.
He has no idea yet that the answer might be closer than he thinks.

Czyli o tym, jak Levi znalazł sobie miejsce w Korpusie Zwiadowczym po zakończeniu odcinków specjalnych "Bez Żalu".
