“Now for the gentlemen,” Effie fishes around in the glass bowl before she repeats the earlier process of walking back to the podium and smoothing out the paper slip with primly flattened hands. She takes a bit longer this time, it seems. Maybe she likes the suspense.
“Five,” her face screws up slightly at his name, “Hargreeves.”

Summary
At least he’d had the forethought to pack up his things last night before he went to sleep. Small mercies. Akihiko hauls the bag over his shoulder and nearly collides headlong into Shinji on his way to the door, only managing to stop at the very last second before he bowls the both of them over. Shinji stumbles back, visibly startled as Akihiko regains his balance. Akihiko has time for a breath, and then a splutter, remembering the rush he’s in and weaving promptly around his partner.
“You’re still—?” Shinji questions, sounding incredulous. Akihiko jams his feet into his shoes and hooks his keys around his belt loop with a shake of his head. No time to talk right now. Shinji nonetheless continues, “Did you grab something for breakfast? I can—”
“No time,” Akihiko puffs out. “Bye Shinji see you later.”
The door shuts with a louder slam than Akihiko means for it to. He’ll apologise to Shinji for it, and for cutting him off, when he gets home—but Akihiko won’t drive recklessly even when he’s running behind schedule, which means he needs to cut down on the in-between time by taking the stairs three at a time.

Akihiko's whole day is thrown off when he wakes up late.

Minato ignored the twinge in his chest and kept walking away from the blue-eyed boy. “Need alpha.” He opened his mouth again and closed his eyes to focus past the heat clouding his mind. That enticing spicy scent was just on the tip of his tongue, and felt vaguely familiar…
“If I was an alpha you’d stay?” Pharos’ tone was strange, unlike anything he heard before.
Minato felt the pressure in the air change, almost like he was being rapidly compressed then expanded again, not unlike the time they’d tried to enter Tartarus through the gym.
Then...Or, a routine scouting mission in Tartarus goes a little awry when SEES runs into Strega.
