Summary
“What do you mean “Finishing the job”? What is this?” - He questioned again, unaware of the conflict of the man standing in the platform with him, already dealing with his own, because why would that person he trusted so much during this journey, would lie to him now? Maybe Avery shouldn't have trusted him from the start? Everything seemed chaotic now, since maybe the help he received to reach Derek was not to help him, but only for the other to get him where he wanted.
“Avery, I need you to leave this world and then I'll explain, okay?” - The empty promise left his lips easily, even if his heart ached from the lie, knowing it would ache so much more if he did not get Avery to safety as soon as possible. - “Disconnect, right now, and I will tell you after. Close Minecraft, close your computer, I'll tell you what's going on soon.”
“No, I won't go, tell me what is going on, NOW” - Worry was eating him alive, he needed to understand what was happening, he needed to help.

Summary
In hindsight, if Gen had taken a little time to ruminate on it, it would’ve been obvious. The strange congratulations, the knowing looks, the way everyone seemed to assume that wherever Senku went, Gen would follow.
At the time, there had always been a perfectly reasonable explanation - always a reason. Until after almost two years, Gen finally realized he'd been missing the most obvious one of all.

Senku tries to compliment Gen and it comes out as a wildly complex lecture on essentially a scientific proof of why Gen is irreplaceable. Gen spends the rest of the day relentlessly teasing Senku over his "passionate confession," but behind the playful act, his heart is restless. Because deep down, Gen knows that clinical, bizarre praise is the highest form of affection the scientist knows how to give.

Summary
It was early December when the buzzing started.
It had been quiet at first. Manageable. Non-existent with the mask on.
Spider-Man could go through his day like normal, Peter Parker would just have to wear the mask at home. It was fine. It was nothing, sometimes he had bad days and his senses flared a little. It was no big deal.
or
Stress from isolation causes Peter to mutate again. Evie calls his entire emergency contact list.
