Summary
Society is split in two. 60% of the population are considered “normal”, while 40% (hi, wassup!) are born with this extra neural pathway.
My extra pathway is the thing that gives me Agrokinesis. For Martinez? His mutated into telekinesis. You get it? The genes can be almost anything.
For most of us, we get flagged as early as elementary school.
They shower you with praise when you’re six, telling you how much good you can do with your power.
You start to watch some of your friends, with powers like yours, stop showing up to school one by one. The stronger and more unique ones first. They get transferred to “special boarding schools” and you quickly realize that maybe you are a subject of fascination, but not the good kind.
Now I’m a part of this underground organization called The Pantheon. People like me trying to break this goddamn system from the bottom up.
Or: Watney (a 'villain' just trying to stop corruption in a world of powers) gets captured and thrown in a maximum-security prison called The Mars. The rest of his team, all with various unique but limited powers, have to find a way to get him out.
