It always starts with a crisis. The old Queen becomes weak. It's the time when the worker bees must create a new one. Fast.
Halazia Hive hummed. Thousands of worker bees were flying, some freshly relieved of their harvest, some weighed down with pollen that they carefully carried from the outer world. The air was full of the aromas of flowers and honey, tender and beautiful—yet it lacked something.
He had to admit he'd had that feeling for some time. Lack of belonging. Lack of something that had always been there—the Queen's Scent.

Summary
As the Battle of Eregion rages on, Galadriel escapes in search of Adar, only to encounter someone unexpected in his new fair form: Annatar.
