They stood in the center of the room feeling way less anxious than before, proud of their hard work, when their original plan moved.
Elliot groaned from his awkward position on the bed, drooping eyes blinking as open as he could get them, irises landing on Two Time.
“Time?” he mumbled, taking a few moments to catch up with his brain. Though visibly confused, he lifted an arm from his side all the same, welcoming them over kindly.
Two Time hesitated for only a second, going through another mental battle, but settled on the fact Elliot was already awake, so they couldn't bother him further.
They walked to the edge of the bed, then climbed up and cuddled into the healer’s warmth, tail loosely coiling around his leg. Elliot hummed, pleased, and pressed his cheek against their head, already dozing off.
Or, after a rough night, Two Time goes to Elliot for comfort
