Summary
Silco assigns reader and Sevika to work on a mission together so he can determine whether to hire reader permanently (he does bc reader is so awesome duh). They both share some animosity toward one another which comes out in sarcasm and geuine annoyance. It's not really enemies to lover because they find each other attractive from the jump but each other's pride is so infuriating they take time before acting on it.

All Oscar wanted was less travel time and more quiet time to study. He never thought it would mean sharing a place with Lando Norris—the man he’s secretly liked for who knows how long.
Moving closer to campus was supposed to be easy, right? Wrong.
Lando is loud, always out, often with someone new. Oscar is quiet, stuck in his routine of studying, going to the library, or hitting the gym—and somehow too scared to say a word. Then one night he comes home and sees Lando with a girl, and suddenly it’s all way too much for Oscar to bear.

About the title:
I got it from a video where Lando wrote “Man U” as “Man who”, and Oscar asked, “Not Man U? Man who?” They were doing a World Cup lineup (I think) but F1 edition. So I just literally found it silly and decided to give it my own meaning lmao.The title means: Not the Man U think you’re supposed to be, but the Man Who you should really see.
(Idk if that makes any sense, but I think my frontal lobe is not normal) 🥸🥸🥸

it was the first practice session and he had been unusually quiet, barely spoken a word to his race engineer. his jaw tight, eyes dark, the pressure of the season weighing heavy. and you, ever the sharp one, couldn’t resist.
“if you win,” you said from behind him, lips brushing against his ear. “i’ll let you fuck me.”
lewis froze. his chest tightened. body tensing, inhaling a sharp breath. but still he didn't react any further than just turning around, proximity too close than you would have liked. at least the public liked this.
and he was staring at you. arms crossed. steady. intense. the kind of look that made your stomach twist.
“do you know what you're saying?” he asked in a sharp whisper. like you had lost your mind.
you only smirked.
“see you at the checkered flag, old man.” you said before turning, swaying your hips.
lewis clenched his jaw. this girl did not think before she spoke. not at all. but he thought of seeing you…. cocky self, flawless, untouchable, falter even once under him was tempting. the idea warmed him from the inside out, gave him something to hold onto.
