Summary
Life has done a number on CFD Lieutenants Casey and Severide, but their love prevails. Still struggling in the aftermath of losing both their best friend and the 3rd member of their polycule, mere months apart, their commitment is put to the test after an arsonist nearly takes the life of Paramedic Leslie Shay. Miraculously, Shay survives, but her injuries change more lives than just her own. One of the people most affected is newly-promoted Lt. Jeff Clarke, who stays close to his former firehouse family so he can be there for Shay while she recovers. He never thought he would fall in love again... but then a chance encounter with Kelly Severide changes everything.
