Summary
Ilya knows basic biology. He has known how babies are made since he was young. He has spent a not inconsiderable amount of his life trying to avoid such a thing. He knows in his mind that it is impossible to get Shane pregnant.
His body, however, only knows that he is inside the person he loves most in the entire world, and it wants. It wants to take root and ripen and grow into something they can hold. "You would give me this? If we could?"
Shane lets out a shuddering breath and a rivulet of sweat rolls down his chest with it. "I would give you anything." He leans down, his lips brushing against Ilya's. "Anything."

“You are going to make fun of me!” Ilya cries as he hides his face away from Shane in the crook of his elbow where he’s leaned forward in agony on the kitchen counter.
“Ilya, I’m not going to make fun of you. You’ll get contacts next week but you just have to wear the glasses in the meantime.”
“But I will look so boring.”
“You don’t think my glasses are boring, and I know that for a fact.”
“Of course I don’t.” he groans again. “They’re perfect, I’ve never gotten harder in my life than when I see you in glasses.” he mumbles and Shane just shakes his head with a long exhale. He’s going to have to bring out the big guns.
(ie. shane and ilya growing old together includes ilya getting glasses and shane having lots of feelings about it)
