Summary
Something dark and twisted haunts the dreams of Mabel Pines.
It's been 8 years and Mabel has finally returned to Gravity Falls, attempting to escape from her parents' pressure to figure out what to do with her life. While Dipper went off to college as soon as he could, it wasn't that easy for Mabel. So she hides away from the stress of it all, with her Grunkles in Gravity Falls. Until Mabel discovers a foreboding reality: Bill Cipher is on the verge of returning, and he isn't the only dream demon interested in their quaint little town. Mabel isn't used to solving mysteries without her brother, but with Pacifica Northwest at her side, she's going to do her best.
---
Dipper Pines wants nothing more than to be normal.
After a few too many monster hunts gone wrong, he and his sister have grown apart. Realizing he just can't do the constant danger and consistent nightmares come-to-life, he just wants to graduate from normal college, get a normal job, have a normal life. But when his sister calls him in the middle of the night, fighting off demons in the town he hasn't visited in 8 years, he realizes that normal isn't possible for the Pines twins. Not at all.

Summary
Kim realizes Harry’s afraid of touching and being touched. So Kim starts, very slowly, enacting his plan to make the detective more comfortable with being touched. He starts small. A hand on Harry’s shoulder when he’s done well, or when he needs to be bolstered. He leans into him to whisper confidentially into his ear. Once, the detective has mustard on his shirt, and Kim wets his handkerchief and dabs at it while the man stiffens and his face goes scarlet. He allows his hand to brush Harry’s when they play Suzerainty, handing off the die. But Harry doesn’t touch Kim. No, the detective keeps his hands to himself.
And then in May Harry touches him of his own volition.

Summary
At first he thought he was imagining her, that all the nights of staring at the traffic cam feeds had finally caught up to him. But he wasn't. It was undeniably her, even through the soot and ash and blood on her face it was her.
She opened her mouth to speak and something else came out. Screeching, horrible and high pitched and like being stabbed in the head again and again. A rush of air, a gust of wind, and then nothing as his vision went black.
. . .
Mel goes missing, Bucky never stops looking.

Summary
It should be easier to live having the world's knowledge at your fingertips, yet it has pulled you so deep beneath the waves that you're unsure you'll ever resurface in your own mind. Valentina had promised to let you get all that information out of your head that you’d no longer be confined within your own head, your own darkness, but nothing stays well forever. You know this.
Despite knowing, it doesn’t make you prepared to meet Bob, or Yelena or any of them, and it’s strange to have hope bloom within your chest. Hopefully you’ll all make it out of this. Hopefully the hope can grow into something more and not lie rotting in the ash.
Right?
