She would know.Post-season 5, pre-revival. Faith comes back to Sunnydale to visit the grave that had been haunting her dreams. She runs into two unexpected third parties.
Grief, reminiscence, understanding, and kisses on tombstones.(Background Spike & Buffy. Personally I prefer them as a platonic pairing, and wrote them as such in this, but interpret it how you want. Main focus on Faith/Buffy regardless.)

In some ways it starts with swords in a forest, metal on metal and instincts acting up before anyone can realize what’s actually happening. In others, it starts with a tree opening up to nowhere, and people disappearing into mid-air, and the unshakable knowledge that even the loveliest things come to an end. But mostly, it starts with a realization that will never stop haunting Caspian the Tenth, king of Narnia: someone always has to leave, and someone always has to stay. And no matter how hard he tries, he’s always the one doing the staying.
