Summary

Lan Jingyi looks two seconds away from bolting, only Lan Sizhui's hand clasped around his arm keeps him from doing so.
Jiang Yanli smiled. At that moment, he thought his mother was the bravest woman alive or the craziest. She didn't even pause before shifting the tray into one arm and reaching to pinch the Yiling Laozu's sunken cheek as if the destroyer of Nightless City was nothing more than a small child. "Xianxian, if you don't hurry, the soup will get cold."
