Summary
Is someone there?” A calm and gentle voice calls to him and Tai Lung’s body feels rooted to his spot as he clutches his side. He finally clears his throat and pushes enough air from his lungs to rasp out something he hopes is akin to speech.
“I-I.. will only stay for a moment… to catch my breath.” Something about the sightless eyes and the silent air of leadership about the young spotted leopard makes him stutter, even without the pain he’s in. It surprises the snow leopard as he finally takes another step forward.
“You sound hurt.” The voice states worriedly and then he comes closer, even without sight his paws find the other and he gently leads the injured Kung Fu master

Taking place after the first movie, this is a little short story about how Tai Lung survives. And maybe gets a bit of a therapy session because he deserved better IMO.

“If they find out Jiang Min is Wei Ying’s child?” Lan Wangji questions. Jiang Cheng grinds his teeth at the thought of it, “I lose custody over Jin Ling, the reputation of Yunmeng Jiang goes down the drain, and my child is the target of a hundred different sects.”
Lan Wangji nods slowly. He is silent for a long while and Jiang Cheng gets the sense he is contemplating something.
“Jiang Wanyin,” Lan Wangji speaks finally, with deep gravity, “Will you marry me?”
(The first time Jiang Cheng lets Wei Ying knot him, they are still bloody from killing Wens.)

He didn’t need to persuade himself to get out of bed in the morning; sooner or later Lingling would cry, and he would find he could move after all. In the middle of the night, when neither of them could sleep, he paced up and down the room, holding Lingling to his chest, whispering, “Jiujiu’s here. I won’t leave you alone. I promise.”

As soon as Jiang Cheng felt the onslaught of coughs making its way up from his chest, he made haste to exit the conference hall. Sect Leader Yao had been going on, or rather demanding, that his sect be given tax relief this year because floods had ruined their crops and Chief Cultivator Lan Wangji, in spite of his infinite patience and stoicism, was starting to grow irritable. Probably eager to get back to Wei Wuxian, Jiang Cheng’s mind supplied as he tried his best to slip out the Gentian Hall unnoticed, ignoring the pair of unreadable golden eyes and Jin Ling’s hushed whispers of ‘jiu-jiu!’ that followed his retreating back.
OR, Jiang Cheng is dying from unrequited love, and Lan Wangji and Wei Wuxian almost don't find out until it's too late.
