Summary
Which was how they’d ended up here, almost a year later. Apollo visiting LA after Herr Sahdmadhi had apparently forced him onto the plane with Frau Skye. Apollo deciding to stay with Klavier over anyone else, since the lease on his own apartment had been terminated. Apollo, jet-lagged and dead on his feet, trusting Klavier enough to let him drag him into the shower so they could both be clean before they fell into Klavier’s bed together.
To sleep, just to sleep, with him curled up in Klavier’s hoodie, in his arms, small and warm and for once without the slight but perpetual crease in his brow.
Or: the late-night musings of an ex-rockstar prosecutor that didn’t think he’d get this far.

Summary
Virgil, at only 8 years old, had resigned himself to being alone for the rest of his life.
He had his roommate, he had the owner of the orphanage. But he didn’t have a family, or even any friends his own age. Nobody wanted a kid that they couldn’t watch grow up, and nobody wanted to be friends with the quiet little weirdo.
That was what he thought, at least. Until a powder blue car pulled into the orphanage driveway and turned everything he thought he knew on its head.
Or: Virgil gets adopted by vampires, falls in love with a werewolf, pisses of a couple of fae, and indirectly gives a witch a semi-permanent stress headache.

Much to the delight of Tumblr teens everywhere, Klavier Gavin finishes his first solo album during the small breaks he takes from being a depressed bitch. In an effort to promote said album, his agency creates We Gott Married, a web series that pairs Klavier up with a fan (read: industry plant) and films them as they play at married life.
Klavier is fine with this. Apollo is not. And no, it’s not because he’s jealous. No matter what everyone else seems to think.

Given how vehemently Apollo Justice denies things like crushes or caring about Klavier in the slightest, he really does keep doing things purely because he cares about him. Things done out of love in a relationship formed in all the wrong steps as the two ultimately come together as a couple.

Summary
You know, Apollo had high hopes for 2028. He and Klavier were actually kind of friends now, there were no impending disasters for once, and things were looking up. And then, literally on the first day of the new year... this happens.
Some cosmic force somewhere has got to be laughing at him. Some cosmic force somewhere definitely has it out for him, that's for sure. But the joke's on them, whoever they are, because his name is Apollo Justice, he's fine, and he is not losing anyone else... even if Klavier has already confessed to the murder Apollo can't believe he committed. And why does Mr. Wright keep muttering about this entire scenario being so familiar?
