Summary
"You're late," Jimin said with no surprise in his voice.
"Late," Jeongguk repeated. His brain wasn't working properly.
"I expected you days ago, the window was getting cold."
The same window he'd crouched beside three nights ago, the same curtains he'd peered through while he jerked himself raw.
"You knew," Jeongguk said.
"I left the curtain open for you. That night on the fire escape. I wasn't asleep."
"You were—"
"Watching you watch me. Listening to you. The sounds you made. The way you said my name." Jimin’s lips curved. "You said it four times. I counted."
Jeongguk crossed the room in three strides.
Or; Jeongguk watches from a distance, follows when he shouldn’t, and takes things that were never offered. By the time he realizes he’s gone too far, he can’t shake the feeling that Jimin has been quietly leading him there all along.

Summary
Jimin had always planned to be a good little omega to his future mate. He planned to be amenable, do as he’s asked, not ask any questions. It’s how he was taught, after all.
But he finds that plan to be a bit more difficult than originally anticipated when he's promised to a dragon shifter.
The last dragon shifter in existence, in fact.

Summary
“I do not know if I could trust the truth from a liar.”
Jimin flinched. He felt the ache in his body and the tightness in his chest, but none of that hurt as deeply as those words.
“Please, Jeongguk.”
The prince’s jaw clenched. His eyes looked wet at the corners, though he blinked fast, like he refused to let any of the tears beading there fall.
“After all this time," the alpha said low and strained, "you let me believe you were someone that I could not choose.”
or: years after jimin had been torn from the love of his life, fate brought them back together in a way that felt more like a cruel joke than a blessing. jeongguk was far more than the boy jimin remembered, and jimin carried a truth far heavier than jeongguk could have imagined. jeongguk was the heir to the very throne jimin had sworn to protect… and jimin, well, he was not the beta everyone believed him to be.
