Hermione Granger has always been very good at fixing things.
Laws. Problems. Other people’s messes. Even a twelve-year relationship that, lately, seems to run more on habit than happiness.
Or, at least, she’s trying to fix that last one.
Her new project at the Ministry should be simpler: cataloguing the magical artefacts Britain’s oldest pure-blood families have kept beyond the Ministry’s reach since the war.
There’s only one problem.
They have no intention of letting her in.
Enter Draco Malfoy: former Death Eater, unexpectedly knowledgeable about old family artefacts and, apparently, the only man capable of opening the doors Hermione has spent years trying to get through.
Working together is inconvenient.
Getting along is unexpected.
And accidentally sending Draco Malfoy a photograph meant to save her relationship with Ron Weasley is…
Well.

Summary
Draco had his back pressed against the wall and Granger had her own back pressed firmly and completely against him. This alone was already awkward enough for them both but when the couple on the other side of the bookshelf started doing more than just snogging even breathing became awkward.
The sounds! The fucking sounds! For Salazar’s sake can’t they keep it down!

Hermione is working undercover for the Ministry, tasked with exposing the leader of a prolific drug ring that has been dealing potion-laced narcotics to Muggle officials. To her great displeasure, it is going to take 8-inch pleasers, and a couple gallons of Polyjuice to meet him.
The identity of the Kingpin is an inconvenience at best, turning downright calamitous when he begins to fall for Hermione in disguise. With the statute of secrecy hinging on the capture of the Kingpin, all Hermione must do is reveal his identity. The only trouble? She might be falling for him too.
