    Summary

When Poe gets sent on a diplomatic mission with Finn, he assumes he’s in for a relatively simple, maybe even fun couple of weeks. That changes when the king and queen begin to claim that Finn is actually their son and Poe realizes that he may need to make a choice between his happiness and Finn’s, between the Resistance and remaining by the side of the man he has admitted only to himself that he loves.

    Summary

There are many reasons that Merlin is a horrible manservant. Most of the time, Arthur is the one who suffers from Merlin’s unscrupulous behaviour, and it’s this fact only that has saved Merlin’s job. Because, as much as Merlin lacks the qualities for being a properly attentive manservant, his unique view on the nobility’s importance—namely, non-existent—means that he is probably the closest thing Arthur’s ever had as a friend.

Not that he’d tell Merlin, obviously.

Or: Five times Merlin wears Arthur's clothes out of need, and one time because Arthur asks him to.

“Could I get a name for the order?” Marlene asked.

“Serious,” the man replied. “Like the star,” he clarified, and Remus mentally scratched out 'Serious' and rewrote 'Sirius' in his head.

“The… star?” Marlene asked, her pen hovering over the cup as she hesitated.

“S-I-R-I-U-S,” Remus said. He stocked croissants into the display case, not looking up. “The Dog Star,” he added, “brightest star in the sky, actually. Visible from both hemispheres.” When he looked over, the man– Sirius– seemed surprised, his eyebrows raised as Remus spoke, and when Remus finished, he blinked a few times before smiling lopsidedly.

“Er– yeah,” he breathed a laugh. “That.” There was a baby on his hip. Somehow, it had taken Remus a second glance to notice that.

    ---

Or, Remus works as a barista and Sirius comes in every morning with the world's cutest baby, and man, these two just wrote the book on mutual pining, huh?

“I might be a bad man,” rasps Sirius, as if he’s about to come, “because you being in distress over loving me too much is the hottest bloody thing I have ever seen.”

And Remus cannot help it, he starts sobbing again. “That’s good,” he cries, framing Sirius’s face softly with his hands, “that’s really good. Whatever makes you want me is good.”
