Ilya can’t help but notice the way Shane looks at the bag, though. Despite his efforts to look annoyed, he looks… almost curious.

There's really no need to — if Shane didn't trust him, at least on some level, he wouldn't be here. He's already trusting him with his biggest secret, one that could destroy his entire career; he thinks he'll be okay if Rozanov wants to... what? Blindfold him? Tie him up?
Shane glances at the tie, then nods again, a little more emphatically. Whatever Rozanov has in mind, he wants it.
