Waverly pulled back the smallest amount to run the tip of her nose down the length of Nicole’s, coming to a stop when their lips grazed lightly. Nicole could feel the quick rise and fall of Waverly’s chest, her short breaths ghosting her lips, she could feel the forceful pulse of her heart thrumming against her eardrums, urging her to close the last sliver of space between them.
“Fuck,” Nicole whispered, a little pained, so close to giving in.
Waverly ran her fingers up Nicole’s arms, past her shoulders and into the fine hairs at the back of her head.
“Please, Nicole,” she sighed breathily, fingers squeezing as she pushed herself closer. “Come inside and ask me to stay.”-or-

It's a little hard to brood and drown in self pity when an annoying shrill of a ghost insists that Carmilla is living in her house and does her best to kick her out. It's even more inconvenient when Carmilla is the only one capable of seeing or hearing said ghost.
