Summary
When the woman was four blocks away, she stopped running and looked up at Batwoman and Black Bat on the roof, the wisps of the black cloud that had been surrounding her dissipating in an instant. The three women were motionless, staring at each other. Batwoman broke the silence, muttering quietly. "What the hell? There's no way she spotted us, it's a new moon." Black Bat's hand drifted towards her grappling hook and the woman suddenly took off down a side alley, away from the two of them.
Skitter gets transported to Gotham after Gold Morning, and has to deal with a new city, and the new heroes and villains that reside there.

It's difficult to imagine how often we appear in the background of other people's lives. How many memories we feature in; how many stories told where we barely rate a mention. Just that girl who tripped over the curb and spilled her coffee. That guy dozing off in the corner of the restaurant. That car that cut that turn closer than they should've.
Everyone's the hero of their own story, but we're all just extras in everyone else's.
Everyone, except for me.
Memory is such a fickle thing, to be so important. Change it, edit it, rearrange it, and who's to say what's real, at all?

Summary
Kara Danvers, secretly Supergirl, takes a rare night off from hero duties to hang out with her CATCO coworker and best friend Natalie. They hit National City's nightlife, landing seats at a sold-out magic show by the enigmatic Mira Vesper. Unbeknownst to Kara, crime boss Dr. Liora Voss, aka The Scorpion, has used computer algorithms and surveillance cameras to peg Kara as Supergirl and hired Mira to capture her. During the show, Kara gets picked for a volunteer act and finds herself slowly and sensually bound with nth-metal ropes that defy her strength. Mira slowly and sensually binds Kara onstage. Kara voluntarily crosses her wrists behind her back and Mira slowly binds them with nth metal-infused rope that seems to respond to Kara’s struggles. Mira slowly and sensually adds a crotch rope and Kara’s wrists are anchored at the base of her back. Mira also ties Kara’s ankles and Mira ties Kara above and below her knees. Finally Mira slowly and theatrically adds a ball gag to prevent Kara from making a sound. Only AFTER the ball gag is added does Mira whisper into Kara’s ear that she knows Kara is, really, Supergirl.
