Summary
The weight of the rich silk kimono is heavy on Ogata's shoulders, many layers of beautiful, useless constriction, an aesthetically delightful straitjacket. He thinks of the men he's wearing this for, who value the restraint and poise he has to assume to fit into it. He thinks of the way he can't run while wearing this tight obi and its trailing tail, the tall okobo sandals that make every walk on the street a display of human merchandise. He thinks of the constant annoying sound of the silver ornaments in his hair, a loud cacophony compared to the familiar delicate jingle of his mother's sole remaining hairpin during his childhood. One small memento from her happier days.
Ogata has recurring nightmares where he's a geisha. Things kinda spiral from there.

Summary
Sugimoto wakes up early again the following morning. He watches the Russian sleep more carefully, this time, sees him grow restless as he stirs awake to the first rays of sunshine. The same “good morning” nod, and off the soldier goes with his notebook and pencil and rifle again.

“Does anyone else know?” Yuusaku sighs, slumping his ridiculously broad shoulders.
“No. Just me.”
“Oh... OK,” Yuusaku blinks, seems to relax a little. “Then what... what do you want, broth—Hyakunosuke?”
“Straight to the point, huh? Didn't think you had it in you.” Ogata sets his elbows on the table and leans closer to Yuusaku. “But then again, you're a smart kid, right? Father made sure to enrol you in the best schools, and then in the best university... Surely an education befitting of the sole Hanazawa heir.”
“What would the old man say, I wonder,” Ogata continues, “if he found out that the perfect son he’s invested so much time and money into spends his nights showing his ass to degenerates online?”
Ogata takes a sip of his coffee, entertained by the sight of Yuusaku's face being drained of all colour.
