But maybe Marinette takes advantage of people mistaking them for a couple once. And maybe one day things get out of hand, Marinette ends up telling her family that she has a boyfriend and has to ask Luka to pretend to be in love with her. It wouldn't be so difficult if he hadn't been pretending the opposite for years.
