"Kunikuzushi? Are you with me?"
"Hmm...?" Kunikuzushi groaned before snapping awake a few seconds later, startling Kazuha. "Don't hurt me! Please.." he pleaded, not realizing that the bullies had gone. It broke Kazuha's heart. How could anyone be so mean to him? He didn't deserve it in the slightest.
"Kuni, i'm here, it's me..." Kazuha spoke worriedly as he grazed his thumbs over Kunikuzushi's lower jaw and swollen and dry bottom lip.
"Kaz-" His breath hitched before he could finish- tears started to well in his big deep purple eyes, threatening to spill over.
OR
kunikuzushi is beat up by a bunch of fatui bullies and kazuha comes to patch him up

Kunikuzushi was fighting back tears at this point, he turned his camera off to hide his vulnerability and wiped his eyes with Kazuha's hoodie's sleeves, taking in Kazuha's cinnamon and nutmeg cologne that was lingering on the fabric.
"Do you want me to come over Kuni..?"
"Yes." A voice cracked out of Kazuha's phone.
Kazuha to the rescue.

Or: Mu Qing might be a little in love with Feng Xin, and maybe Feng Xin's a little in love with Mu Qing too, but they're both a lot too stupid to realize it.

When Alhaitham gets to the hospital, Cyno is throwing up.
Somehow, that’s the thing that makes everything inside him come to a screeching halt.
He had hoped, some desperate and hopeful part of him, that maybe it would be okay. Maybe he would be fine, and they could go home and leave it all in the past. He was just getting checked up at the hospital. He was fine.
The sight of Cyno, hunched over, retching horribly as he cried, finally crushes the hope left in Alhaitham’s chest.At the end of the day, Alhaitham has always been at Kaveh's side, to weather each storm.

Durin stops laughing immediately. He doesn’t, in fact, understand what was very funny.
Apparently, Albedo and Hat Guy aren’t actually dating. Durin attempts to do something about it.

Carefully, almost in loving reverence, Hua Cheng gathered Xie Lian's foot and proceeded to bandage it expertly. Then, he examined his legs and arms for any cut or bruise – cleaning the cuts, pressing his lips on each bruise.
Xie Lian gasped, eyes wide, the trembling in his body increasing ten folds. His burning cheeks were turning to lava, frying his brain in the process. He couldn't understand what was happening. Why was Hua Cheng acting this way? It didn't make any sense!
"S-San Lang, ah!?"
After getting rid of a spirit in a neighboring village, Xie Lian attempts to return home fast enough, but ends up injuring himself along the way. He doesn't dare call Hua Cheng who went back to Ghost City, knowing he is busy. But maybe that's a mistake.
Maybe, just maybe, there's a chance the Ghost King actually wants to help him out.

Hua Cheng is joking, but Xie Lian is conspicuously silent. Hua Cheng ducks closer to look at his face. His expression of embarrassment is so cute, his eyebrows high curves over wide evasive eyes. Again the urge to kiss him. Again resistance. Hua Cheng clears his throat. "Ah… I was right??"
