Finishing this just has me feeling so awesome! That great book happy, full, floaty - yes! feeling! This is such a well written story and I loved getting to see things from Arcturus, Sirius and Regulus’ perspectives - it made me care deeply about each of them and made for a very satisfying story experience.

Arcturus learns he’s dying and it makes him reevaluate his life and search for answers from the Goblin Seers on if the House of Black will survive Voldemort and the war. The Goblins tell him that if he doesn’t intervene both Sirius and Regulus will die and the House of Black line will be end. He then gives them the tools they need to survive and thrive and eventually take out Voldy. -

Truly excellent series with amazing worlds building, especially the political side of things.... Finally Harry has an adult on his side willing to take away the burden of saving the entire wizarding world and teach him about all the things he doesn't know about that world
Major spoilers!
Book 1 - 11/2/21, 11/7/24, 12/21/25 - we get glimpses of what could happen if Sirius goes back in time to five different years - 1975, 1981, 1988, 1993, and 1996. At the end of the book he reaches for the door/year he's going to choose, but we don't get to know which he chose until Book 2.
Book 2 - 11/2/21, 11/8/24, 12/21/25 - Sirius chooses 1988 and flees to France with Harry. Remus eventually joins them and they make a life there all together. Britain/Dumbles refuses to acknowledge Sirius’ innocence even with it being proven via trial by the ICW, but that doesn’t really impact the life they have built. The book ends a little over a year after Sirius rescues/kidnaps Harry and says it’s the first in a series of “Harry and Sirius in France” but nothing more has been written in that series since 2020.
Book 3 - 11/3/21, 11/10/24, 12/22/25 - this book has Sirius choose to go back to the 1993 he experienced in Book 1 because in that one he had already been declared innocent and gotten legal custody of Harry. He ends up discovering the horcrux situation when he has Harry get a health checkup and takes care of them along with Voldy too because he's the one that gets kidnapped at the end of the Tri Wizard Tournament (though Harry gets dragged along by the portkey thrown at Sirius and he helps by killing Nagini) Sirius is also elected as Minister of Magic and starts bringing changes like reclassifying werewolves, upping the budget for Hogwarts and the DMLE because he wants to make a better world for Harry. But there's a lot more to be done like money in the ministry is being embezzled, there are still some Death Eaters out there and Draco is going to live with them for the summer...Book 4 - (hadn't been finished in 2021 when I first read this series) 11/10/24, 12/23/25 - this is Harry’s perspective on the happenings of Book 3 and then a little beyond since we get to see how the summer goes up until his and Neville's birthdays. The embezzler is taken care of and Draco goes back and forth on being a moody teen. It's really well done and doesn't feel like a total rehashing of everything.
*Third time reading and enjoyed it just as much - though it would have been nice to see Dumbles torn down or in any way remorseful for the way he treated Harry

This is my favorite kind of 'time travel fix-it' fic! So much planning and preparation put into getting ready before everything goes to hell. The author has put an amazing level of consideration into this story along with spot on characterizations, and great dialogue. It's just really all around well written...
Oh and this is the one with the full moon tie-in

Book 1:
Ch. 28 - 8/29/23, 5/10/25Another chapter was written!
Ch. 29 - 7/23/25, two more full moons are used to "wake" more family and allies. Booklets are put together and distributed and ham radio towers are set up to help the various communities keep in touch after everything starts to happen
Ch. 30 - 7/27/25, this is now a series and this is the final ch of the first book - they start installing the fence on the day Rick was shot in the original timeline, but he still gets shot only this time by a hunter. It hits him in the butt and his badge catches the bullet.Book 2: ch 5 - 12/21/25
1 - they bring the nursing home residents and the Vatos to the farm and rescue Morales and his family too. There are 63 groups/communities, right now they all check in nightly
2 - Maggie gets rid of Randal. Merle digs a moat around the farm. One of the groups is already gone after only a week into the outbreak. The Army commander in Kings County is acting really sketchy
3 - Kings County people are now at farm. 60 communities after a month since outbreak. Commander taken out, but Negan needs to be taken care of too.
4 - they go clear the prison, check out Woodbury which is being run by a committee (no governor) leave Merle and Andrea to help them, then go pick up Gabriel and the 15 members of his congregation he saved and then head back to the farm
5 Eugene came up with the idea to use trains and the rail line to connect the communities and restored an engine, so they do a test run to the prison and Woodbury and it goes great
